Small town located on US Hwy 395 about 23 miles north of Kramer Junction and 23 miles south of Ridgecrest. One of three Active Ghost Towns: Randsburg, Johanesburg, and Red Mountain. Population 130 people.

Also name of mountain directly east of the town.
