Penstemon heterophyllus Lindley var. purdyi (Keck) McMinn | We bought this Penstemon at Yerba Buena Nursery. The variety is pretty widespread on northern California, but most collections are from Lake and Mendocino counties. The oldest known collection was made on Snow Mountain in 1891 by an unknown person.
