  • The open circles are the vittae (oil tubes), also called secretory ducts.
    • There are vallecular ducts on the outside (top) and commissural ducts on the inside (bottom).
  • The filled-in circles are fibrovascular bundles.
  • The hatched areas are probably marginal bundles.
