Juniperus scopulorum Sarg.  Rocky Mountain Juniper.

Grampsas North Open Space (City of Golden), Jefferson County, Colorado. Northern portion of the Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex, northeast slope of small alluvial hill, southeast side of North Table Mountain, 4.02 km. (geodesic) northeast of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.78112°N, 105.18784°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1743 m. Sole shrub on north slope, with Artemisia dracunculus, Mirabilis linearis, Eriogonum alatum, and Elymus elymoides. This area was designated a City of Golden open space in 2025.
