Hybanthus verticillatus (Ortega) Baill.  Baby Slippers.

Parfet Open Space (City of Golden), Jefferson County, Colorado. East central portion of the open space, on the southwest end of a small ridge that appears to part of the pre-development topography, 970 m. southwest of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.74909°N, 105.22874°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1796 M. Also seen or collected on this ridge: Artemisia campestris, Grindelia subalpina, Townsendia grandiflora, Xanthisma spinulosum, Mentzelia nuda, and Mirabilis linearis. This parcel was designated a City of Golden Open Space in 2025.
