Cornus sericea L. ssp. sericea.  Creek Dogwood.

Twin Creek, Jefferson County, Colorado. On a terrace of the right bank of Twin Creek, near its mouth at Goose Creek, about 250 m. southeast of the Sheeprock Trailhead, 7.7 mi. west and south on F. R. 211 from County Road 126., 11.9 km. southwest of Deckers. 39.19488°N, 105.34206°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2182 m. Nearly finished flowering. Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir forest with Ribes cereum, Anemonastrum canadense, Geum macrophyllum, Galium boreale and Carex inops ssp. heliophila.
