Geranium caespitosum James.  Pineywoods Geranium.

North Twin Creek, Jefferson County, Colorado. Near top of a low ridge south of North Twin Creek, 140 m. west of the F. R. 211 crossing of North Twin Creek. 6.8 mi. west and south on F. R. 211 from its north end at County Road 126, 11.5 km. southwest of Deckers. 39.208°N, 105.3467°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2424 m. Petals pink, magenta guides. sticky. Gentle northeast slope, open ponderosa pine and Douglas fir woodland, also collected here: Castilleja integra and Ceanothus fendleri. Burned by the Hayman Fire (2002), though mapped as low intensity in this location.
