Potentilla hippiana Lehm. var. effusa (Douglas ex Lehm.) Dorn.  Wooly Cinquefoil.

Lippincott Ranch, Jefferson County, Colorado. Southwest corner of the "panhandle" southern part of the ranch, near the powerline, 21.7 km. north northwest of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.9001°N, 105.2731°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1989 m. Open seasonally wet grassland, also nearby: Amorpha nana, and Gentiana affinis. Lippincott Ranch is jointly owned by City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks and Jefferson County Open Space.
