Lupinus argenteus Pursh var. fulvomaculatus (Payson) Barneby.  Lodgepole Lupine.

Morrison Creek, Jefferson County, Colorado. Moist forest floor across an old road from Morrison Creek, just north of the Colorado Trail, 0.92 km. south of NF Road 550, 61.5 km. south of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.332°N, 105.2853°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2368 m. Small white flowers, with an eyespot that has faded to brown, keel tip dark blue.

No. 2527, 23 June 2021, characters observed: Perennial lupine, to 40 cm., caulescent; Inflorescence, 8-11 cm., occasionally branching; Pedicels, 2 mm.; Flowers, small, 6.5 mm., whitish; Calyx, tube not spurred; Banner, 3.5 mm + flexure + 2 mm., back glabrous, eyespot faded to dark brown; Wing, claw 2 mm. + blade 5 mm.; Keel, 5.5 mm., tip upturned, dark blue;
