	I found this photograph at the former Holmes Book Company on 14th Street in downtown Oakland, California. It was upstairs, in a backroom, in a box full of old photographs. I think I paid a $1.00 for it. It stays framed on my wall at home.

The Woman	This is the woman in the photograph.
The Man	This is the man in the photograph.
	My current guess is that this photo was taken between 1925 and 1934 in North Africa. I don't have any particular reasons for selecting those dates and location. It's just my guess. If you have a guess, with or without a rationale behind the guess, I would be very interested in hearing it.

	I think the Man could be Horatio Nelson Jackson (Mike, 14 Jan 05)
	Where The Photo Might Have Been Taken
Other articles: • CA Hwy35: 65000; Locations: Castle Rock State Park.	These photos may be of either goat rock, castle rock or overlook/skyline rocks areas which are in the santa cruz mnts. south of the san jose /los gatos area. I climbed there during high school in the 70's. one photo has tree shade in it that looks like an oak. I don't think N.A. has oaks (Troy, Cypress, CA, 12 Jan 2005)
