Hogback at the very north end of Golden. No name adopted by GNIS. The name of “North Golden Hogback” was adopted by the Open Space Working Group (2025).

Located along the Dakota Ridge, North Hogback Open Space includes scenic ridgelines, historical mining areas, and paleontological sites. It provides ecologically valuable habitat and contributes to the scientific significance of the larger Morrison-Golden Fossil Areas National Natural Landmark, known for its rare geologic and paleontological features.
